The Indigenous Law Students and Lawyers Association of Victoria-Tarwirri would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Kulin Nation in which we reside and pay our respects to Elders past and present. Wominjeka is a word meaning welcome in the local Woiwurrung language.

Newsflash!

Applications for Victoria Legal Aid's New Lawyer program will open on 8th February and close on 12 March 2010. Two positions are available for Indigenous first or second year lawyers. This two year program, beginning in later 2010, will offer a variety of experiences and opportunities. At the time of commencing the program you will need to have successfully completed the practical legal training requirements for admission in accordance with the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2008.
