Applications for Victoria Legal Aid's New Lawyer program will open on 8th February and close on 12 March 2010. Two positions are available for Indigenous first or second year lawyers. This two year program, beginning in later 2010, will offer a variety of experiences and opportunities. At the time of commencing the program you will need to have successfully completed the practical legal training requirements for admission in accordance with the Legal Profession (Admission) Rules 2008. |

The Law Institute of Victoria is pleased to offer one placement for an Indigenous law graduate to undertake the College of Law Victoria's Professional Program during 2010. This program is an accredited course of practical legal training for admission as an Australian lawyer in Victoria and is an alternative to supervised workplace training.
