Tarwirri Blak Letter Law Gala 2026

Tarwirri is proud to present the Tarwirri Blak Letter Law Gala, a special evening bringing together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander legal professionals, law students, community leaders, and allies to celebrate culture, excellence and connection within the legal profession.

The Gala will officially open National Reconciliation Week 2026, creating a space to gather as community and acknowledge the ongoing work of justice, self-determination and leadership of First Nations peoples within the legal system.

The evening will begin with a Smoking Ceremony led by a Wurundjeri Elder, followed by a Yidaki performance to welcome guests. Attendees will then enjoy a three-course dinner and premium drinks package, accompanied by live entertainment from deadly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performers throughout the night.
