Niamh Whitford

Niamh is a Nyul Nyul woman from WA who grew up mainly on Whadjuk and Yued Nyoongar Country. She completed the JD at Melbourne Law School and currently works for the Kimberley Land Council.
She has previously worked at VALS and the Department of Premier and Cabinet and currently works at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, Victoria, and the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Forestry, as well as tutoring at Deakin University and Janet Clarke Hall.
During her time at Melbourne Law Niamh has also served as the Indigenous Student Representative. Niamh enjoys reading and swimming, and weaves in her spare time.
